Khajuraho have its own airport of high standard but still its flight connectivity is very limited. If we study its last 10 years flight connectivity history, we will notice that Khajuraho always enjoyed flight connectivity from Delhi and Varanasi. It means Khajuraho was often type-caseted for Buddhist tourism only which had framed Khajuraho tourism to certain tourists only thus here tourism consistently falled or destroyed due to policy paralysis. Even now, when flight connectivity restored, it has same Delhi & Varanasi flight connectivity. Tourists coming from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai have not direct flight to Khajuraho thus Jabalpur airport is next best option to reach and cover it.
